Professor Roger Goodall
The UKACC PhD Showcase and Roger Goodall Memorial
The annual UKACC PhD Showcase did not take place during the COVID-19 pandemic and is being reinstated in 2023. The 2023 PhD Showcase will be a tribute to Professor Roger Goodall, who sadly passed away in 2022. Roger was instrumental in the creation of the original UKACC PhD Showcase and as such this event is dedicated to Roger’s memory. The PhD Showcase has the aim of bringing postgraduate researchers and the control community together and celebrating the work taking place by PhDs students. All PhD students working in any area of control are invited to submit a four-minute presentation on their research (see separate guidance document for details on how to apply).
Members of the control community are invited to attend, see the latest research from PhD students working in control and celebrate the life of Roger Goodall with UKACC.
